What working with us feels like
You speak to the same designer from first conversation to settle-in. We do not hand the project to a rotating junior team mid-way. Decisions are written down so site teams can build them.
We are calm on site and firm about detail. When a finish does not earn its place, we cut it. When a joinery line needs protecting, we stay until it is resolved.

Most projects begin two to eight weeks after the fee proposal is signed, depending on studio capacity and your build programme.

Based in St Ives. Cornwall and Devon weekly; wider UK by agreement with planned visit days.

We work happily with your architect, structural engineer and contractor — or introduce makers we already trust.
